Common scam tactics
1. Telegram groups or social accounts impersonate CoinEx customer service or official staff and DM you first
2. Impersonate CoinEx's email, text message, phone call, SNS channels, etc.
3. Clone the CoinEx website or App
4. Advertise false CoinEx event information or investment projects online
Official Verification Channel
1. Scroll down to the bottom of CoinEx official website www.coinex.com and click [Official Verification Channel].
2. Enter the website URL, Email address, Telegram username or channel link, etc. for official verification in case of phishing or fraud.
Reminder: To protect yourself from fraud or phishing scams, if you notice any suspicious websites, emails, telegram, etc, please visit CoinEx official verification channel for verification.
How to Report Suspected Scams
If you encounter suspected fraud or impersonation of official channels, you can submit a ticket to report it.
1. Visit CoinEx official website (https://www.coinex.com), scroll down to the bottom, and click [Contact Support].
2. On the [Submit a Request] page, fill in [Registered Email in CoinEx] and [Subject], select the [issue type], describe your issue, and add a file if necessary, then click [Submit].
We will respond as soon as possible after receiving your request.
To process your ticket more efficiently and accurately, please provide the following information:
(1) Briefly describe the possible scam, fraud, or suspicious situations you encountered.
(2) False ConEx website or App information.
(3) Chat screenshots with fake CoinEx official customer service or official staff. If contacted through social media, please provide the account name of the scammer's social account.
