CoinEx Crypto Loans: A Step-by-Step Guide

How to borrow cryptos

1. Visit CoinEx official website (https://www.coinex.com), log in to your account, and select [Loans] under [Finance] at the top navigation.

2. Go to the [Loanable Coins] section, select the crypto to borrow, and click [Borrow].

3. Click [Add Collateral] in the pop-up, and choose your preferred collateral coin.

Note: You can use multiple cryptos as collateral.

4. Enter the borrowing amount and collateral amount, click [Confirm] to double-check all details in the pop-up and tick the [Crypto Loan Agreement] checkbox, then click [Confirm] again to initiate the crypto loan.

5. After the crypto loan is successful, you can check the details at [Assets] under [Loan Account].

How to repay crypto loans

1. Go to [Assets] under [Loan Account], and select the crypto you borrowed. Hover over the three dots menu, then choose [Repay] from the options.

2. Enter the repayment amount and click [Confirm] to complete the repayment. (The crypto you originally borrowed will be used for repayment by default. You can repay your loan partially or in full.)

Note: You can also click [Repay with Collateral] to make the repayment with your collateral coin. If you choose this option, the platform will automatically trade your collateral coins and use the swapped assets to repay your loan. Partial repayment is not supported when using collateral.

How to adjust the collateral coin

1. Go to [Assets] under [Loan Account], and choose the crypto you borrowed. Hover over the three dots menu, then choose [Adjust] from the options.

2. Click [Add Collateral] or [Reduce Collateral] in the pop-up.

(1) Add Collateral: Choose the crypto to add, enter the amount and click [Confirm]. 

Note: You can use more than one crypto as collateral.

(2) Reduce Collateral: Choose the crypto to reduce, enter the amount and click [Confirm]. 

Note: You can decrease your collateral amount as long as the adjusted LTV does not exceed the initial LTV when the loan was taken.

How to check adjustment record

1. Go to [Assets] under [Loan Account], and choose the crypto you borrow. Hover over the three dots menu, then choose [Details] from the options.

2. Check [Borrowing Records], [Repid Records], [Adjustment Records] and [Interest Details] in the pop-up.
