What is CoinEx Staking?

Staking Rules

1. Staking

The minimum amount for staking is as indicated on the staking page, and there is no maximum limit for staking.

2. Redeeming 

Your staked tokens which should meet the min. redeeming amount.

Redeeming time: Please refer to the staking page for the specific time.

3. Annual Percentage Rate (APR)

On-chain staking APR = Total staked rewards yesterday * 365 / Total valid staked amount yesterday * 100%

Total staked rewards yesterday: from 0:00 (UTC) yesterday to 0:00 (UTC) today.

Total valid staked amount yesterday: from 0:00 (UTC) yesterday to 0:00 (UTC) today. The successfully staked amount that has generated rewards on chain. (Including the staked amount of bufsize in advance).

Current traceable chain rewards: The actual rewards scanned on chain from 0:00 (UTC) yesterday to 0:00 (UTC) today.

Current valid staked amount on chain: The successfully staked amount that has generated rewards.

Service fee: CoinEx charges a 10% service fee on user rewards, except for staking CET with a 0% fee.

 

Reward Calculation

1. Source

Rewards distributed to users are generated from on-chain staking rewards.

2. Calculation of Est. Reward

Daily estimated rewards = User's staked amount * APR / 365

APR value: Calculated from the rewards generated in the last 24 hours.

3. Calculation of Actual Reward

(1) User's total rewards = [Today's users successfully staked amount that has generated rewards on-chain * On-chain staking APR * (1-Service fee) / 365

(2) User's actual reward = [Today's the user who successfully staked amount that has generated rewards on-chain* On-chain staking APR * (1-Service fee) / 365

(3) CoinEx charges a 10% service fee on user rewards, except for staking CET with a 0% fee.

(4) After you initiate a redemption, you will not earn any rewards.

4. Reward Distribution

Stakes made on the current day (T+0) will not yield any reward on the same day.

Accrual day (T+1): Rewards are calculated based on the daily APR.

Distribution day (T+2): Rewards obtained are distributed to your spot accounts at 00:00 (UTC) on the following day.
