About Emergency Contact
The emergency contact is a security feature designed by CoinEx to protect your accounts.
When your account remains inactive or unused for an extended period, your designated emergency contact will receive an email notification. The emergency contact has the right to submit an inheritance application to CoinEx. The inheritance application can be submitted via a support ticket, and CoinEx customer service will provide guidance.

Web: Navigation Bar > Security Settings > Emergency Contact
How to add an emergency contact
1. Visit CoinEx official website (https://www.coinex.com), log in to your account, and select [Security Settings] from the dropdown menu under the [Avatar] icon in the top-right corner.
2. Click [Set] > [Set Emergency Contact] to the right of "Emergency Contact" to fill in the required details of your emergency contacts and inactivity period.
3. Double-check the details, click [Save], and complete 2FA verification to add emergency contacts.
How to edit or delete an emergency contact
1. Visit CoinEx official website (https://www.coinex.com), log in to your account, and select [Security Settings] from the dropdown menu under the [Avatar] icon in the top-right corner.
2. Edit or delete an emergency contact
Click the [Change] button to the right of Emergency Contact, and edit or delete the emergency contact.
- Edit an emergency contact: click the [Edit] button to the right of "Emergency Contact" to edit an emergency contact's information.
- Delete an emergency contact: click the [Delete] button to the right of "Emergency Contact" to delete an emergency contact's information.
