Feature Overview
Inactivity Auto Close is a risk management feature for CoinEx Futures Trading.
If your account remains inactive for a prolonged period (no logins or actions), the system will automatically cancel all pending orders and close all futures positions at market price. This helps mitigate potential market risks when you are unable to manage your account.
The feature is disabled by default. You must manually enable it and set the inactivity trigger period.

Feature Details
1. Set Inactivity Period
Enter the Inactivity Trigger Period (1-7 days) and confirm. When you’ve enabled this feature, the system will calculate inactivity duration based on your account’s last active time.
⚠️ Note: “Last Active Time” is the timestamp of the last action in your account, which includes logging in, browsing pages, clicking, or trading. ANY account activity will reset the inactivity timer.
2. Automatic Position Closing
If your account remains inactive for the set number of consecutive days, the system will automatically execute the following actions:
- Step 1: Cancel all pending orders
- Step 2: Close all futures positions at market price
⚠️ Note: The trade will be executed at the market price when this feature is triggered. The final execution price may differ from your expectations due to market volatility. Please fully assess market risks before enabling this feature.
3. Trigger Time Calculation
The trigger time is calculated based on the exact timestamp (to the minute) when the feature is enabled. The auto-close will be executed at the same time of day once the inactivity period elapses.
| Example | Activation Time (UTC) | Inactivity Period | Trigger Time (UTC) |
| 1 | 2026-02-04 10:59 | 7 Days | 2026-02-11 10:59 |
| 2 | 2026-03-01 15:20 | 3 Days | 2026-03-04 15:20 |
| 3 | 2026-03-05 08:20 | 1 Day | 2026-03-06 08:20 |
4. Notification of Triggers
Once enabled, the system will send both in-site messages and email notifications at the following times:
- 12 hours before the scheduled auto-close triggers
- Immediately after positions are successfully closed
5. How to Disable
You may disable the feature at ANY time. Once disabled, the inactivity timer will stop immediately, and the system will no longer trigger automatic position closing.
⚠️ Note: After disabling the feature, previous settings will not be retained. If you wish to enable it again, you must re-enter the inactivity trigger period.
FAQ

2. If I disable the feature and enable it again, will my previous inactivity period remain valid?
