About Futures Calculator
The Futures Calculator allows you to easily simulate potential results of your transactions. With just a few clicks, you can estimate your Revenue, Target Price, and Liquidation Price.
How to use Futures Calculator?
1. Visit CoinEx’s official website (https://www.coinex.com), log in to your account, and select [Futures] under [Futures Trading] in the top navigation bar.
2. Click the [Calculator] icon on the “Futures Trading” page.
3. Calculation of the Revenue, Target Price, and Liquidation Price
For example, you opened a long position in BTC/USDT (position size: 0.1 BTC) at the entry price of 93,000 USDT with 10X leverage.
(1) Revenue
- Open the calculator and click [Revenue]
- Choose [Long] and 10X leverage
- Enter the Opening Price, Closing Price, and Opening Amount
- Click [Calculate] to estimate the result, including Margin, Revenue and PNL%
(2) Target Price
- Open the calculator and click [Target Price]
- Choose [Long] and 10X leverage
- Enter the Opening Price, Opening Amount, and Revenue or PNL%
- Click [Calculate] to estimate the Closing price
If you want to calculate the estimated Closing Price based on PNL%, you can follow the steps below:
- Click [Switch to PNL%] and choose 10X leverage
- Enter the Opening Price and PNL%
- Click [Calculate] to get the estimated Closing Price
(3) Liquidation Price
a. Cross Margin
- Open the calculator and click [Liq. Price]
- Choose [Long], [Cross Margin], and 10X leverage
- Enter the Opening Price, Opening Amount, and Available Margin
- Click [Calculate] to estimate the Liquidation Price
b. Isolated Margin
- Open the calculator and click [Liq. Price]
- Choose [Long], [Isolated Margin] and 10X leverage
- Enter the Opening Price, Opening Amount, and Increased Margin
- Click [Calculate] to estimate the Liquidation Price
If you didn't add any margin after opening the position, please enter "0" in the [Increased Margin] field, and click [Calculate] to estimate the Liquidation Price.
