Fee Structure for USDⓈ-Margined Contracts

Trading Fee

The trading fee is charged during contract transactions, while these fees will be calculated and included in your Realized PNL.

At CoinEx, the trading fee rate varies by different VIP Levels and Market Making Levels.

  • VIP levels are determined based on CET balance, total asset value, 30-day spot trading volume, or 30-day futures trading volume.
  • Market maker levels are determined based on trading volumes, with main and sub-accounts calculated as a whole.

Calculation of Futures Trading Fee

1. USDⓈ-margined contracts always use USDT as the settlement currency for both opening and closing positions.

2. Calculation: Trading Fees = Executed Price * Executed Amount * Fee Rate

3. Example:

A VIP 0 user opened a long position of 0.2 BTC when the price of BTCUSDT was 5000 USDT, fully executed by Taker orders. When the price rose, the user closed all positions by Maker orders at 6000 USDT, then:

  • Opening Fee: 0.2 * 5000 * 0.05% = 0.5 USDT
  • Closing Fee: 0.2 * 6000 * 0.03% = 0.36 USDT

4. Note: "Use CET as Fees" is not available for Future Trading. For actual fees, please refer to the Fees Standard.
