VIP Level
CoinEx uses a tiered system for VIP members. Based on your VIP level, you can enjoy different fee discounts.
1. The VIP level will be updated when your CET holding, total asset value, 30-day Spot trading volume OR 30-day Futures trading volume meet the requirements of different levels.
2. The snapshot of CET holding, total asset value, and trading volume will be taken at 0:00 (UTC), and the VIP level will be updated at 1:00 (UTC) on a daily basis. The data of all sub-accounts will be added to your main account.
Notes: When calculating the CET holding, the system will include the holding at off-site addresses that are bound to CoinEx. The trading volume of market makers will be excluded.
3. The current VIP level is based on the snapshot result at 0:00 (UTC) every day. After the VIP is activated, the discounts will be automatically calculated and applied to your orders. Please refer to Introduction to CoinEx VIP Discount for more details.
4. VIP fee discount is applicable on top of CET deduction (CET deduction is not available for Futures markets and AMM markets).
5. AMM markets adopt a different fee system, and VIPs do not enjoy special fee rates. Please refer to Fees Standard for more details.

How to Become a Market Maker
Individuals or professional agencies with a monthly trading volume of 1,000,000 USD (Spot) or 5,000,000 USD (Futures) on CoinEx can apply for CoinEx Market Maker. Please refer to CoinEx Market Maker for more details.
Spot Market Maker Level
If your Spot trading volume in last month reaches 1,000,000 USD, you can apply for CoinEx Spot Market Maker.

1. After becoming a Spot Market Maker on CoinEx, Spot Market Maker Level will be updated according to the last-month Spot trading ranking.
2. Based on the last-month Spot trading volume ranking, the Spot Market Maker level is updated at 1:00 (UTC) on the 1st of each month.
Suppose there were 100 Spot Market Makers with a trading volume of ≥ 1,000,000 USD last month, then only 10 Market Makers ranked among the top 10% (100 * 10% = 10).
If Spot Market Maker A ranked No. 10, A can enjoy LV5 Spot fees (the ranking rules work for both Spot and Futures Market Makers).
3. For Spot Market Makers who didn't meet the minimum requirement for 1 or 2 consecutive months, LV1 will be retained. If underperformed for 3 consecutive months, their Spot Market Maker status will be revoked.
4. For non-AMM trading pairs in the Spot trading market, Market Maker fee discount is applicable on top of the CET deduction.
5. Market Makers enjoy special fee rates in AMM markets.
Non-stablecoin AMM market: Maker 0% and Taker 0.3%. Stablecoin AMM market: Maker 0% and Taker 0.1%.
6. After you become a Market Maker, the discount will be calculated automatically when the transaction is settled. Please refer to Market Maker Discount for details.
Note: Market Maker status will NOT affect your VIP privileges.

Futures Market Maker Level
If your Futures trading volume in last month reaches 5,000,000 USD, you may apply for CoinEx Futures Market Maker.
