How to Reset Login Password (Web)

The process for changing your password is the same whether you're logged in or not. You can follow these steps:

1. Enter the login password reset page.

  • If Not Logged In: Visit CoinEx's official website (https://www.coinex.com), click [Log In] in the top-right corner, then click [Forgot Password] on the "Log In" page. You can also click [CoinEx Help Center] > [Reset Login Password].

  • If Logged In: Visit CoinEx's official website (https://www.coinex.com), log in to your account, and select [Security Settings] from the dropdown menu under the [Avatar] icon in the top-right corner. Click on [Change] next to Password under "Basic Settings".

2. Enter your email address and email verification code.

3. Depending on your security tool binding, complete the two-factor verification, then click [Next].

Note: If your security tool is lost or unavailable, please reset it first.

4. Enter a new password and confirm it by entering it again, then click [Confirm] to complete the process.

Note: Please set a complex password (including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols) and store it securely, preferably offline.

Note:

  • If you reset your login password while logged in, clicking [Done] will redirect you to the login page, where you will need to log in again using the new password.
  • For security reasons, withdrawal will be suspended for 24 hours after resetting the login password.
