Why Is the Withdrawable Amount Less Than Total Assets

When your withdrawable amount is less than your total account assets, it may be due to the following reasons:

1. Assets Are Frozen

(1) Pending Limit Orders

Check the “Pending Order” page to see if there are any pending limit orders for the cryptocurrency you wish to withdraw. If there are, you can click [Cancel] to release the frozen assets.

Example: If you have 1000 CET and placed a limit sell order for 1000 CET with CET/USDT. The amount of 1000 CET will be frozen until the order is filled. Canceling the order will release the frozen assets.

(2) Unfilled P2P Sell Orders

If you have any unfilled sell orders in P2P trading, the USDT from those orders will be frozen. You can check this in the [In Progress] section.

Note: Merchants can check relevant orders in the Merchant Dashboard > Pending Order.

(3) Other Freezing Reasons

Freezing may occur due to activity requirements or other circumstances. If you encounter this situation, please submit a ticket for further assistance.

2. Withdrawal confirmation of the deposit is not reached

After depositing to your CoinEx account, if you wish to withdraw, please check your deposit history to confirm whether the deposit has reached the minimum confirmations. Only after reaching the required confirmations will the withdrawable amount match your total assets.

Assume you deposited CET. The deposit will be credited after enough confirmations required for deposits are reached, and the asset will be available for trading. However, you must wait until enough confirmations for withdrawals are reached before withdrawing the asset.

Example 1: If enough confirmations required for deposits are reached, and you exchange CET for USDT through Spot Trading. If you wish to withdraw those USDT, you will need to wait until enough confirmations for withdrawals are reached before withdrawing the asset.

Example 2: If enough confirmations required for deposits are reached, you borrow USDT using CET through CoinEx Loans and try to withdraw those USDT. You will also need to wait until enough confirmations for withdrawals are reached before withdrawing the asset.

Note: The confirmation number varies for each cryptocurrency; please check the deposit page for details.
